Today I received a tip-up made from the best tip-up manufacturer on the planet, Beaver Dam Tip-ups. If you’ve never used one I would definitely recommend it. They have a solid wood base, freeze proof lube, and the line guide is honestly the best part. It rotates around the spool super smooth to get in the direction of the strike, and it’s also heavy enough that it prevents the bait from setting off the tip-up.
